What materials do you use to make your collars?

We use aircraft cable, crimps, and welded O-rings for our base collars. 

We use several different beads, wood, silicone, and glass.

Can I walk my dog with the collar?

Absolutely, they are strong enough for walking but remember they slip over the dog’s head to go on so there is a chance they could slip off.

Can my collar get wet?

Our Haute Dogz Sport can get wet! They are even top-rack dishwasher safe. Great collar for our water babies!

Our Classic beads can get wet but may fade over time. They are wood and with heavy water exposure they can deteriorate quicker.

Our Luxury collars will change colours very quickly if they get wet. If you want to keep the exquisite colour of these beads do not let them get wet.

How do I clean my collar?

Luxury Beaded Collar: use a soft cloth to clean. Do not use water.

Classic Beaded Collar: you can you a damp soft cloth.

Sport Beaded Collar: you can put this one in the top rack of the dishwasher for a good clean.

How do I measure my dog’s head for the slip-on collar?

Use a soft measuring tape and measure the widest part of your dog’s head, this is usually right in front of their ears and all the way around.

DO NOT use a hard measuring tape.

If you do not have a soft measuring tape then use a string and measure the string.

Make sure you measure very SNUGGLY as we will take into account spacing in the collar.

Please make sure you measure properly, each collar is custom made for your dog only and therefore can not be returned.

Can I return my collar if it does not fit?

How long does it take to get my collar?

Right now we are looking at 2 weeks if we have to ship out of North Vancouver BC, Canada.
